If you want to be ready in an emergency, this course is for you!
The Emergency First Response Course at Joe’s Gone Diving in Bali covers basic training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. The EFR training can be combined with the Rescue Diver Course to get your Rescue Diver Certification.
Duration: 1 day
Who can join: Everyone can start this course, diver or non-diver.
The Emergency First Response course (EFR) takes only 1 day and is a non-diving course. This medically based program covers primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines.
You will study the manual either during the course or already pick it up beforehand from our dive center to do some studying beforehand. In the classroom you will watch the DVD, go over knowledge reviews and make a final exam.
During the practical part you will practice with basic life support skills, CPR and rescue breathing, preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management and basic first aid. In a few scenarios you will apply your learned skills.
The program is designed for divers and non-divers. It meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your PADI Rescue Diver rating. After successfully passing the course you will receive the internationally recognized Emergency First Response certificate.
