Do your PADI Open Water Referral on Bali

Prefer to do all your theory and swimming pool sessions from home or have limited time to do your dive course on Bali? Why not opt for the PADI Open Water Referral course. You will get a chance to dive in nice and warm water on Bali with some great marine life and don’t have to worry about pool or theory anymore once you are on Bali.

Depth: max. 18 m. (max. 12 m. for 10 and 11 year olds)
Duration: 2 days
Who can join: To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver Course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be in good health, be able to swim, 10 years or older for the Junior Open Water Course & 15 years or older for the Open Water Diver Course.

Course Description

To sign up for your PADI Open Water referral program, you can go to any PADI Dive Center in your home country. Many offer specific referral programs. Just inform them you would like to do the theory and swimming pool sessions there and would like to get a referral to finish your last 4 open water dives on Bali. After you have successfully passed your theory and swimming pool skills you will receive a PADI referral form from the dive center. You will have to hand in at Joe’s Gone Diving, so make sure you bring it with you on your holiday.

The first day in the ocean! You will make two dives on your first day. You will repeat the dive skills you practiced in the pool back home and learn some new skills. Of course it is not just the diving skills you focus on, you will also spend a good portion of your dive exploring the amazing Bali dive sites. We usually go to either Padang Bay or Tulamben for your dives; both great dive locations.

Your 2nd day in the ocean and your last two dives for your course! As the day before, you will spend part of your dives reviewing scuba diving skills, but will also have plenty of time to explore the amazing marine life and reefs Bali has to offer. You might explore the famous USAT Liberty wreck from WWII or dive into the beautiful coral gardens in Padang Bay. Once you have successfully finished the 2nd day of your course, you will receive the desirable PADI Open Water Diver rating.

After the course, you get your PADI Open Water Diver certification if you are 15 years or older or the Junior Open Water Diver certification if you are younger than 15. A certification that is recognized worldwide. Once certified, you are ready to explore the ocean’s planet!

Already did two of your open water dives somewhere else? No problem you can also just book a 1-day referral course.
