Take you PADI Open Water Referral Course on Bali
With the PADI Open Water referral course, you do all your theory and swimming pool lessons already back home. Here on Bali, you will only need to do 4 more dives for your open water course. The PADI Open Water Referral course at Joe's Gone Diving will take just 2 days. You will get to make your dives in the nice, warm waters in Bali and have a chance to see great reefs and marine life.
Dive locations during your Open Water Referral courseWe normally go one day to Padang Bay with its great coral gardens and amazing marine life. We often spot cuttle fish, octopus and anemone fish there. And if you are lucky, you might even see a turtle or shark.
The other day we usually go to the famous USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben from WWII. This impressive wreck already starts at 3 metres depth and is just 25 metres from the shore. The wreck is completely covered in corals and teeming with marine life. It is a bit of a drive, about 2.5 hours, but along a nice scenic route.
The dives in Tulamben are shore dives and the dives in Padang Bay are boat dives, so you get to experience two different types of entry.
