Pygmy Seahorse

Bali – Pygmy Seahorse (species Hippocampus bargibanti) are 14–27 millimetres (0.55–1.06 in) long from the tip of the tail to the end of the snout. Bearing in mind that the tail is already half the body length wrapped around the gorgonian trunk, you can imagine how tiny it is…it is almost impossible to see. They are always found on gorgonian corals of the genus Muricella, and live their whole adult life on a single coral.
