15 May Meet the Course Director at Joe’s Gone Diving
Meet Markus, the in-house PADI Course Director at Joe’s Gone Diving on Bali.
Markus Gstrein has been at Joe’s Gone Diving for quite some time now and he is in charge of all our professional dive courses such as our PADI Divemaster training program and our PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDC) on Bali. Originally from Austria, he speaks fluent English and of course German. He also speaks Spanish, so all the PADI Instructor training can be followed in multiple languages.
He is passionate about diving and can teach many different PADI Instructor Specialties. He used to be a professional chef and can stand the heat and stressful situations like no other. Skills which will come very handy during the PADI IDC and Instructor Exams which can be nerve-racking at times. He stays calm and will coach you through challenging situations.
