On 28 March it is Hari Nyepi. This Day of Silence is a very special Balinese holiday. No one is allowed in the streets and even the airport is closed. The whole island is quiet. It is a day of meditation for the Balinese. Obviously we won't be able to dive that day so we will be closed at Joe's Gone Diving. If you are on the island, it is definitely a special experience though you don't want to miss.

Did you ever wonder why some people dive with two tanks and what it would be like to dive with 1 instead of 2 tanks? Time to discover the PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty. In this 2-day course you learn how to glide through the water effortlessly with great control of your buoyancy. Find out how you can increase your bottom time, and how your trimming allows you to be more stable in the water. Find out more on our PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty page.

At Joe's Gone Diving we find it very important you can manage your dive limits yourself. The best way to do that is by using a dive computer for your dives on Bali. On all our dive trips and dive courses your equipment rental from us will always* include a dive computer if you don't have one yourself. Looking to buy your own? They are available for sale at Joe's Gone Diving and we are more than happy to advise you.

In July, August, September and October, Joe's Gone Diving will be going to Manta Point at least 3 times a week (conditions permitting). We have trips scheduled every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, but often go more often.
We normally do 2 dives. One dive to spot mantas and one dive on the amazing coral reefs on the other dive sites around Nusa Penida and Lembongan. If we are lucky we might also encounter the illustrious sunfish. The dives on Manta Point are for certified divers only. Please book on time to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
